Adriana and Shawn celebrated their ‘forever together’ day exactly the way they wanted to. Their casual rustic barn wedding with a tiffany blue and coral theme was a great blend of the traditional and the informal and was a family affair from beginning to end, with so many hand-crafted details to decorate the indoor and outdoor spaces and designed to make sure everyone had a super fun day (kiss-o-meter anyone?)!
That beautiful tiffany blue colour though!
After an emotional first look for both of them they were ready to relax and enjoy their ceremony to come.
When I say that the wedding was a family affair – it truly was. From helping to set up the interior of the barn and the ceremony space with chairs and decor the night before the big day, family was a huge help in getting it all done. And family members who couldn’t be present were definitely not forgotten with a touching and special memorial.
Both Shawn and Adriana chose only family members to stand beside them in the bridal party, with siblings and cousins supporting them. Stealing the show were the littlest family members – 2 handsome ring bearers with mini bow ties and the sweetest flower girl with tiffany blue details. There might have been the teeny-tiniest need to provide a little coaxing to help the 3 little ones to make their way up the aisle (requiring a few more family members to help out :)) but all was soon back on track. And of course we could not forget Adriana and Shawn’s dear Roxie, who played her part in the day. (Thanks to Brennan who made sure all children and Roxie made it down the aisle!). There were many tender moments during the ceremony with a few more tears shed and then on to the party!
A good time was certainly had by all!
We even managed to sneak out from the reception at golden hour so Adriana and Shawn could share a few quiet moments as husband and wife and so we could capture some newly married photos against the backdrop of the glowing sky.
I loved being a part of Adriana and Shawn’s special day and celebrating with their wonderful families. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Baskett! Wishing you all the joy and happiness as you begin this next chapter in your lives.
