I was so happy and excited when Amanda and Gavin contacted me and asked if I would take photos of her absolutely adorable little newborn baby girl! Amanda and Gavin have been clients of mine for a little while and I was thrilled to hear that they were going to be expanding their family……I took their wedding photos in 2020 in the height of the covid season and it was so awesome to meet up with them again to do their lifestyle newborn session.

Little Miss L decided on her own that she couldn’t wait to meet her parents and she came 4 days early and really surprised her mom and dad! Out of town, and then stuck in a traffic jam, they had to rush back fast as they soon realized they would be on ‘Lucy-time’!

She is such a dolly with an easy temperament. How cute is she! Can we talk about her little nose, and her little toes? Irresistible! Lucy is a real squish-squish. How amazing was it to hold and cuddle her! And she was the epitome of an dream baby when we did her newborn session. She slept the whole time in her cosy blankets with her bunny stuffie – Amanda was right – a dream baby!

Amanda and Gavin were already complete naturals as parents – it was as if they had done this many times over! It was such a pleasure to take photos of this little girl and her family (and of course her puppy!) A real treat for me to witness and help capture this beautiful stage of their lives as new parents. They make such a wonderful little family!
