It was such a treat to get to know Kelly and Dave and to get outside on this late fall night to make sure we captured some photos for them before the snow started to fly! It was awesome to capture photos in and around Paris, Ontario (yes, that Paris, not the other Paris but so beautiful all the same! :)) and to ensure we had all the iconic bridges and ‘Paris spots’ that Kelly was looking for in the backdrop!
There were so many glorious backdrops to choose from – the lovely downtown, the falls and iron bridge, the bridge at Penman’s Pass and nearby trails. And we were lucky that the leaves were still on the trees to capture some late fall colours! From bright (almost neon) yellows to oranges to soft reds, the autumn night did not disappoint.
Kelly and Dave are just a wonderful, quiet, down-to-earth couple and it was so fun to see that they were not afraid to embrace their fun side, which is clearly evident in their photos and their smiles. And they pulled off ‘the dip’ so incredibly well! I’ll be sure to get them to show off their dancing skills at their October wedding this year!
Dave shared that he enjoys doing videography on the side and his confidence in front of the camera was evident. They both kept each other smiling and laughing and dancing! We truly enjoyed a great night out together in the setting sun. We used up every last bit of daylight including capturing some beautiful photos on Paris’ iconic downtown bridge. I’m so happy with how their photos turned out! Hope you enjoy seeing these photos from their fall engagement photo session!
