Love this cute little family (especially that little squish! How adorable is she?)! You might have seen this family featured a few times on this blog – they’ve had a lot of special moments happening in their lives in the last little while……and it won’t be the last time they will appear here – that I can promise (hint, hint)…you’ll just have to circle back here often to see more!
This was a very cool fall session that almost turned into a winter session. Those bits of white fluffy snow coming down were not added in. It was all natural! So magical. We got the benefit of all the lovely orange and red and yellow fall colours contrasted against the deep greens of this park, without the dreaded cold but with the beautiful falling snowflakes.
Little Miss E was in fine form – dressed in soft pinks and smiling for the camera……although it was most likely smiles she had for Grandma, who was being the best photographer’s assistant there ever was, smiling and laughing at Miss E from behind me. Grandma, thank you, thank you and I could use you again at our next session – are you available? We also got a chance to sneak in some couple photos of Deanna and Colton while Grandma entertained their little darling and I think these are some of the best we’ve taken together! They are just so happy together – you can see it in their smiles, feel it in their genuine laughter, and in their warmth for each other. Family life and this new season of their life suits them very well. And those fall colours are the ultimate backdrop!
Although it hadn’t been that long since I captured photos for this wonderful family when Miss E was only 3 months old, what a difference a few months makes in a little girl’s life. She is growing up so quickly it feels like I just blinked! Before long I know she will be walking and talking and her fiesty personality will make for some fun indeed!
We had a blast capturing memories including taking some Christmas photos for their annual Christmas card. I am so happy that Deanna and Colton enjoy taking photos often as Miss E grows – the memories are so special but the days oh so fleeting! Capturing their sweet family in the moment to enjoy their memories for years to come, they will be so very glad that they did (and from this photog mom who has a soft spot for little ones, and who herself thinks fondly back on those days with her own two daughters…..I couldn’t agree more that recording those moments when you have the chance is so important – really, where does the time go?).
