We spent a wonderful evening celebrating Alanna and Daniel’s engagement at the University of Guelph and Guelph Arboretum……and the night would just not be complete without the presence of a very special little one!

Not shy at all (we met several years ago), she set the tone right away with dancing, twirls, squishes, smiles and giggles…..and we knew the rest of the evening would have Alanna and Daniel doing the same!

We snapped some quick family photos all together and then we were off to take couple photos on the campus that means a lot to both of them.

We quickly learned that Alanna and Daniel have a knack for incorporating special meaning into the different aspects of their lives – Alanna’s stunning diamond is set into her grandmother’s engagement band (and what an absolutely stunning ring it is!) and I can’t wait to share all the special touches that they have planned for their wedding (but can’t spoil it here – more on this to come!). Let me just say that they have planned to have meaningful touches woven throughout their day at their very cool and unique wedding venue!

But back to their engagement photos……the night couldn’t have been more perfect as the rain held off and the sun broke through ever so briefly so we could capture some glow!

The most fun was had at the Arboretum with dancing, lifting, carrying, and running through the meadow!
