Katie and Nick are one of the nicest, sweetest couples you will ever meet. Kind and gracious, they are the type of people you would want to have in your life, to share laughs and tears with. I am so so grateful that I met these two, and even more grateful that they found each other and will now share their lives together.

And can we just take a minute to talk about their stunningly beautiful summer wedding?? Those of you who know me well will know that I don’t use the word ‘swoon’ very often but I am literally swooning over their gorgeous day! I can’t get enough of it! So meticulously coordinated, it was a vision in sage green and light peach!! The colours of the decor and florals were just perfect for a summer wedding ‘on the green’ and the style of Katie’s beautiful bridal gown (not to mention Nick’s suit!) reflected the mood of the beautiful, stately Inn at Knollwood Golf Course in Ancaster.

Exchanging their heartfelt vows under the bright sun on the East Lawn in front of their family and friends (along with the cutest flower princesses and ring security!), there were tears flowing and the occasional laugh or two. Then the newly married Mr and Mrs made their way through the bubbles to be met with hugs all around. (And the bubbles actually photographed that way as the sun hit the bubbles just right! They totally look photo-shopped but they are real!)

The night ended just as perfectly as the day began and then it was off for some amazing golden hour photos! Wishing these two all the best as they make their long drive back to Alberta (for now, at least!) to start their new life together, along with their newest family members, their two shelter cats.
