This was such a fun evening session. This beautiful (so photo-genic!) family of four sure kept me on my toes. Right from the beginning I knew it was going to be great fun! They were super flexible and really made my job easy.

It wasn’t hard to make them laugh, or smile, or have a good time together. They were relaxed and joyful at the same time. With a little one underfoot we all had to keep moving to keep him entertained.

Big sister was a great help to make him giggle, to run with him when he needed to move about (exactly what littles ones need to do!). She also played ball with him and the best part of all – BUBBLES! We were saved by the bubbles. Just when we thought the session was going to be over in a heartbeat, I pulled about the bubbles and the excited face was priceless! Instead of running away from us, with us chasing him, he did a complete about-face in a second and ran straight for the bubbles, excitement and glee on his face.

So cute to watch how quickly he made up his mind to join us again. And then finally the playground was calling (of course he saw it immediately on our way to our photo spot – those little ones catch everything!).

We ended up holding him off for a little while but he never forgot and so we finished the night with a little swinging, sliding, and a promise of ice cream. Mom and dad and big sister were so amazing and so patient throughout. If they were worried the session might not go well, they never let on.

They were so positive and enthusiastic. I look forward to seeing how this young family grows together and hopefully capturing some more of their fun family-time memories in the future!
