To say that these little ones kept us on our toes would be like saying we’ve had a mildly hot summer in 2021……..what fun we had chasing these two around the farm at sunset! There were visits to the chicken coop and bounces on the trampoline and swinging on the swing and running free with tiny bare feet. What childhood summers are made of! And of course there were questions, so many questions! about the camera equipment, as these two were more than a little curious, wanting not only to see themselves in photos, but to take their own photos as well! A couple of budding photographers they were! In fact, they had a great way of making their parents smile and giggle so that we got some good pics of mom and dad too!
I am always happy when my clients have a special location in mind for photos and this farm which has been in the family for years did not disappoint! Now home to uncle and auntie (who weren’t around this time for all the fun! maybe next time……), this was the perfect spot to catch golden hour just beyond the soybean field. And it had the perfect patch of grass for running and spinning and twirling and jumping and just about anything else these two littles had in mind. A whole lot of energy along with smiles and giggles too! And I was pretty impressed with Dad’s jumping! All in all, the time passed incredibly quickly as we snapped away. I just love capturing these moments in time – they are ever so fleeting! Kids grow up wayyyy too fast and when looking back it’s hard to remember them ever being so little. Sweetie pies! So glad we got to meet and I can’t wait until our next photo adventure together!
