On one of the hottest and most humid evenings at the end of June, Nicole and Andrew were unbelievable sports, coming out to Huron Natural Area in Kitchener for their engagement photos. They were all smiles and their photos turned out so beautifully! You’d never know for a minute that they were battling the extreme heat! The love and quiet connection between these two is evident in their photos.
It was so great to connect again with Nicole, whom I hadn’t seen in many years. We were neighbours when Nicole was growing up. Her mom and I have known one another for years. So it was such wonderful news to hear that Nicole was engaged! And now I’m so happy to be her wedding photographer! I have loved getting to know Nicole all over again and to meet and get to know Andrew. You can see what a great match they are!
Their photos in the wheat field are particularly stunning. The connection, love, and fun shared between these two is obvious! In no time they were posing experts, despite never having posed for photos like this before! Made my job so incredibly easy and makes me excited for their wedding day!
Towards the end of our time together, we were able to capture the most glorious golden hour light! These are some favourite photos from our session. Nicole and Andrew looked so relaxed with each other, and it was equal parts romantic and fun between them!
I can’t wait to be their wedding photographer at their snowy wedding in February 2020 – will be quite a contrast to this hot, hot summer night!
