These two certainly made the most of their frosty, bitterly cold winter engagement session! Three times was definitely the charm as we had to cancel Caroline and Andrew’s session two times due to well below sub-zero temperatures (-23 degrees with the wind chill at least!)!! While it was still unbelievably cold, you would never know it looking at the photos of this really sweet couple! They never lost their enthusiasm or their joy in being together outdoors and their positive spirits made being out in the cold not so bad at all.

We were rewarded with just the slightest of winter sun glows and even a gentle snow fall as we made our way around the wooded areas where Caroline and Andrew play disc golf and regularly walk their beloved golden retriever Cali, who definitely had to be a part of the action! After some quick photos with their energetic puppy, who was then off for a walk with her awesome dog handler (Caroline’s sister), we captured some great photos just as the sun was setting.

Caroline and Andrew are just the kindest, sweetest people you would ever meet – friendly, easy to talk to, and warm-hearted, they make you feel immediately comfortable. They embraced their time together even with the occasional chattering of teeth! I loved that Caroline and Andrew chose spots that were meaningful to them. In between the woods and downtown Paris Ontario where they both grew up, we snapped a few shots of the place where their love story first officially began when Caroline just happened to stop to say hello to a friend who just happened to be walking with Andrew. While they had known of each other for a long time, it was the first time they were introduced to one another and their story together began that day. It was so fun to be able to take them back to the place where it all began.

I am looking so forward to Caroline and Andrew’s upcoming fall wedding in London at Bellamere Winery! I cannot wait to meet up with them again and take more photos of this really kind-hearted, sweet couple! Until then, enjoy their gorgeous winter woods engagement session!
