These two are just so sweet and charming! And their October fall wedding was so very lovely! The crisp chill of October was in the air, but that didn’t stop Carole and Nate from braving the cold for their outdoor photos and from having the most lovely wedding day. As a photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing countless beautiful wedding days, and this truly special day was no exception.
From the delicate bridal details, with stunning lace details on her wedding gown, and her lovely soft veil to the cutest ring bearers and flower girl (Carole’s youngest sister and her two adorable nephews!), everything about this wedding was a beautiful vision come to life. The reception venue was awash in autumn colours, with a boho-inspired look, including twinkling garden lights, and centrepieces with feathers and floating candles! And then there were so many tender moments (Carole’s first Look with her mom and dad) and hilarious ones (Nate and the gentlemen horsing around!) to keep you crying and then laughing on repeat! Can we talk about Nate’s reaction upon seeing Carole for the first time as she walked down on her father’s arm? So incredibly touching. And let’s not forget about the gorgeous sunset photos of the bride and groom – stunning doesn’t even begin to describe it.
But what really stood out to me was Carole and Nate’s fun-loving, easy-going nature, both as individuals and as a couple. They were simply a joy to work with, and their love for each other was evident in every single shot we took of them. They braved the cold without complaint, and even ended the night wearing their own ‘bedazzled’/DIY crocs – a true testament to their carefree spirit (and their desire to dance the night away in comfort!).
When Carole & Nate took to the dance floor for their bride and groom dance, there was not a dry eye in the house. It was a lovely sight to behold, seeing them dance together and I feel honoured to have been able to capture it all on camera. These moments definitely were the icing on top of what had been such a beautiful day that went off without a hitch!
Being a photographer isn’t just about snapping pictures and getting pretty pictures – it’s about being able to tell a story through your art. And with Carole and Nate, that story was one of true love and pure happiness. We wish you many more years of happiness together Carole and Nate! It has been our true pleasure getting to know you and being a part of your lives.
