I really love this family! I have taken their photos, together and separate, a few times now to celebrate different milestones and it’s just as fun every time I’m with them! And they have been with me from the very beginning, so supportive, encouraging me along the way and helping me to grow my business. It all started, really, from the time I first took Brittany and Joe’s maternity photos before their family started to expand and grow in wonderful ways (thank you Tina for the introductions to both of your amazing girls as well as the rest of your crew!). We were supposed to take Brittany and Joe’s second maternity photos last year before their newest little member, but alas, covid had other ideas. But this night we were in luck (and no longer in lockdown!) and we were all treated to a beautiful evening, with the whole family together, including two lively, active rambunctious boys. Those two little ones sure kept me on my feet as we played on the ground, upside down, and everything in between! And having a pocket to put all the flowers and treasures in definitely helped!
FUN is really the best word to describe this bunch – I always know to have my camera on fast speed to catch not only the smiles, but the laughter, and all the butterfly kisses! And of course, to catch Roxy the canine member of the family when she is smiling too! The hour we spent together flew by……an enjoyable summer evening in the park spent with good friends! Bring on more of these fun photo sessions!
I was particularly grateful for my pint-sized helper who organized his Grandma and Grandpa and helped them to get set up for some beautiful photos, both with and without him as the main attraction. He warmed up as we took photos of Grandma and Grandpa and soon was keen to be a part of some photos himself, in between nature exploring!
Roxy was cooperative when it came to her turn too! And we didn’t even need to promise her a treat or a walk! If I recall correctly, though, I’m pretty sure there were others in the background behind me who had a hand in making sure she was photo-ready and looking straight at the camera! Adriana had a hand too – or should I say two very strong hands to keep Roxy in place.
Thank you Grandma for helping to snuggle in a little one for a few seconds to snap this sweet photo of the two of you together!
I can’t wait to see the personalities of these two boys grow and blossom as they each become their own little people. I think we can start to see their personalities already!
Sweetness overload!
And can I say how amazingly this group coordinated their outfits for this shoot, especially across three different families? I didn’t even have a hand in it – but I was so pleased to see them as they arrived, all dressed in their blues. I just knew the photos were going to reflect their hard work coordinating with each other! Thank you to these special people and wonderful friends for a great night, and a fun, fun time together. I cannot wait until we can do it again!
